The Global Building Solutions Home is designed to be stronger than current stick built or cement built homes and more wind resistant. The use of SIPs for roof, floor, and wall construction give the home added strength and displaces the resistance of any wind or natural disaster over a greater amount of space. The design can be used with either a pier system or foundation based on client preference.

A standard sized (672 sq. ft / 64.60 sq. meters) home can be built in 8 days on site, with the shell going up in hours. SIPs can be used for the entire structure of the home, including walls (exterior and interior), roofs, and flooring. The home can be built with minimal supervision, or with help from the family, thus providing sweat equity.

Appliances and material can be supplied for use with the home. The finished Global Building Solutions Home can be completed with refrigerator, stove, carpeted floors, windows, doors, vinyl tiles in the bathroom, shower stall, toilet and all other amenities normally found in a home for sale in the United States.

Design of materials and the preparation process takes into account the shipping/delivery task as well as construction assistance by the end-user. Our construction method is designed for adverse conditions, and follows a simple numbering scheme.

The last concern that impacted our design from start to finish was ensuring the cost effectiveness of our Global Building Solutions Home in order for the homeowners to be able to participate, both physically and financially. Global Building Solutions has developed a process for packaging and delivering a home using the latest in construction technology to provide affordable housing. The Global Building Solutions design uses all of the resources found in today's construction world in order to provide a sustainable, safe and cost effective home.
